Danny H. Thomason, OD

Dr. Thomason received a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Arkansas University and did his post graduate work at both the University of Mississippi and the University of Connecticut. After teaching school for a number of years, Dr. Thomason entered Southern College of Optometry in Memphis and received a Doctor of Optometry degree in November of 1976. Dr. Thomason was named Best Optometrist in Central Arkansas runner-up in a 2003 Arkansas Democrat-Gazette poll. He was again named Best Eye Doctor in Central Arkansas runner-up in AY Magazine in 2005.

Dr. Thomason is a member of the Arkansas Optometric Association as well as a member of the American Optometric Society.

Vickie / Dispensing Optician

Vickie has been an Optician with over twenty-five years experience. Given her time with Thomason Eye Care, Vickie states "I must say working with Dr. Thomason has been one of the most satisfying positions I've ever had."

Barbara / Office Manager

Barbara has been in the medical field for the past twenty-five years. The past twelve years have been with Dr. Danny Thomason. Barbara says "We take pride in our friendly and family atmosphere at Thomason Eye Care." Barbara makes sure that the office at Thomason Eye Care is always open for people who have questions or would enjoy a fresh cup of coffee, and friendly conversation.

Chrissie van Pelt

Chrissie van Pelt has been in the optical industry for several years. She is a contact lens instructor, and also assists patients in selection of frames and proper lenses. Chrissie also does pretesting for Dr. Thomason.
